The faculty at Hermon Middle School is proud of its diversity of teaching approaches which broaden the overall school experience for our students. The ability of our teachers to work together within a flexible, cooperative environment guarantees success serving today's adolescents.
Our faculty may occasionally provide you with information on their personal web pages. Classroom policies and expectations, course syllabi, and interesting projects or lessons may be shared.
Parent/community volunteers are needed to help facilitate this additional workload of increased communication. With our FirstClass communication system and HMS School Notices button on our Homepage, we should be able to keep parents informed and more involved in their children's education. Face-to-face discussions with your child about their school experiences in the classroom promotes learning and helps them process information and develop thinking skills. Trying to understand something and its role or pattern in a bigger picture and asking well-thought questions prepares our children for real-life situations.
You can e-mail your child's teacher at "(teacher's lastname and first initial with no spaces between)@hermon.net". (For example, "

Thanks for sharing your child with us and supporting us in this very important process of caring for our children's physical, social, psychological, emotional, and learing needs. Your involvement is not easy, but very critical. After all, these adolescent experiences can be very tiring and stressful. We need to spread the anxiety around.
